Case Study: How Allara Health Found A Scribe Worth Keeping Around
.png)
Allara Health provides multidisciplinary virtual women’s healthcare. Before Attend, its team had tried several AI scribes, including its EHR-native tool. None sustained use beyond the first week.
Built around the way Allara delivers care
Allara’s clinicians needed notes that fit their specialties. Its dietitians use ADIME—Assessment, Diagnosis, Intervention, Monitoring and Evaluation—rather than generic SOAP notes.
Attend worked with clinical leads on anonymized examples to build templates around those requirements. The resulting system supported gynecology, endocrinology, internal medicine and registered dietitians, with templates tuned at the organization level.
More room for patient care
Across a six-month analysis of more than 19,000 appointments, Attend adopters opened a median of 106 additional minutes of appointment capacity per provider each week—roughly two to three appointments.
Adopters also had 3.36 times higher odds of completing notes on time than non-adopters (p < 0.0001). The findings reflect the overall implementation, including specialty templates, onboarding and sustained use.

We piloted other AI scribes before Attend, including our EHR's native scribe. Our providers stopped using them within the first week. Attend proved out real behavior change, in addition to adoption.
