After years as a practicing physician, Dr. Fakhouri saw how documentation burdens stole time from patients and fueled burnout. He founded Attend with a clear mission: to give clinicians the tools to amplify their expertise and impact with patients by easing the administrative load and returning focus to care.
Founder’s story: From frontline care to digital innovation
Dr. Fakhouri, a practicing physician and digital health leader, brings deep clinical and product experience to Attend. He previously held clinical product leadership roles at One Medical, Livongo, Teladoc Health, and Ro, and draws on this experience in building Attend. He earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Vanderbilt, an M.D. from the University of Connecticut, and completed his residency at the Yale School of Medicine.
